Nick DeSalvatore, Owner & Trainer

Nick grew up watching his father work with hunting dogs and saw early how much trust a dog and owner can build. He went on to train through hands-on mentorships and certified programs, and spent five years in the veterinary field learning how health and behavior connect.

He has trained family dogs of every breed and age, plus therapy dogs serving local fire departments. His goal is simple: a dog that’s happy to listen, and an owner who knows how to lead.

Will my dog forget me while they're away?

No. Dogs stay deeply attached to their owners. Most come home more focused on you, and your private lessons make sure they listen to you, not only to Nick.

How long should my dog stay?

Board & Train starts at 2 weeks, and 4 weeks is the most common. Behavior and aggression cases are 4 weeks minimum. Nick recommends a length at your free evaluation.

Can you help with aggression or reactivity?

Yes. Our Behavior Modification program is built for reactive, anxious and aggressive dogs. The goal is a dog that feels better and reacts less.

What happens after the program ends?

You get your private lessons to learn the handling, then free monthly group classes for life to keep your dog sharp.
